Life is always busy, and for most people, efficiency reigns supreme over almost all aspects of life, including diet. But with a busy schedule, one shouldn’t have to compromise on being healthy. You don’t necessarily have to eat unhealthy on-the-go foods when you know how you can properly fuel your body.

Here’s how:

1. Plan Ahead: The Foundation of Success
Let me tell you, meal planning is your ultimate winner when you have a tight schedule all week long. There are few things more valuable than planning what you are going to eat for an entire week and it only takes 30 minutes!
- Batch Cook Like a Pro: Having several hardy options in your pantry such as barbeque chicken, roasted vegetables, quinoas should be ready in large portions. That way they can be stored in portions making it easy for a meal to be composed using the assortment.
- Keep It Simple: Don’t overcomplicate. Being a nutritionist I assure you it is possible to cook a balanced meal of protein, whole grains and veggies under 20 minutes.

2. Master the Art of Snacking
Snacking is not necessarily a process of feeding the hunger, but it’s the chance to feed the body. Ditch the chips and candy bars for these easy options:
